Wet-Loving

During the hottest, driest months in the summer, these plants should be watered as soon as the soil dries out. While some of them can survive droughts without additional water, they will all be happiest with regular watering to maintain soil moisture during the summer.

In nature, these plants can be found in diverse locations. Some are wetland plants, others are found in forests that get moisture from fog year-round. Still others live in vernal pools, which are wet during the winter and spring, but dry out in summer. We recommend reading individual plant descriptions to learn more about their specific needs!
