A beautiful shrub for moist or wet areas!
Rose Spiraea is most often found in moist meadows and wetlands, where it slowly spreads across the landscape. Its bright pink flowers are beloved by pollinators, especially bumble bees, small birds eat its seed in the fall, and many species use its branches for cover. Rose Spiraea can dominate wet sunny areas, where it competes well against invasive species. In moist soil that is not fully wet, it tends to be less aggressive. This is a very hardy species that can handle many different soil types.
