Woodland Strawberry (Fragaria vesca)

More size information here.

Absolutely delicious!

One of three native wild strawberries, Woodland Strawberry is often found in partly shady places, such as woodland edges and meadows. It can handle some drought, but is also sometimes found in more moist areas. Throughout much of the world, this was the most-eaten strawberry prior to the creation of the modern hybridized strawberry. It will grow well in shade, but will fruit more in sun.
