An excellent shady pollinator plant!
These flowers might not look like much to humans, but they are highly valued spring nectar sources for bees. Shade Phacelia blooms at the perfect time for bumble bee colonies to get their start in the spring. It does well in sunny or shady places, though in the wild it is usually found in shade. An unusual flower that is fascinating to watch!
